DANCE PRESCRIPTION is an audition entry 12 month program based in Melbourne, Australia that has been specifically developed to enhance the dedicated dancer’s learning, technique, artistry and skills. Likeminded-individuals train together, challenging each other and themselves in order to become the best dancer that they can be. The focus is on building technique and confidence simultaneously in order to create exceptional dancers with bright futures.

This Accelerated Extension Program is like that of a Mathematics or English tutor for school work, and is to run in conjunction with the dancer’s regular dance school training, not replace it.

The DANCE PRESCRIPTION program consists of fortnightly private consultations and group technique and conditioning classes run on weekends. Most classes are held on alternate Sundays and Fridays with some private lessons scheduled throughout the week.

All assistants for Dr. Lisa Ellis' Just What The Doctor Ordered workshops train as part of DANCE PRESCRIPTION and are selected from their hard work both inside and outside the classroom to travel nationally and internationally for the opportunity of a lifetime.

DANCE PRESCRIPTION is an audition entry only program. Auditions are held once a year for the 12 month program. Audition details for the 2017 program auditions are as follows:

Two dates available!

Date: Sunday 8th January and Sunday 22nd January 2017 (times are identical for both days)

Time: 9.15am - doors open

         10.00 - 11.30am: Auditions for 12 and over

         11.30am - 1.00pm: Auditions for 11 and under

         2.00pm - 3.00pm: Call backs/further audition time

Place: 3/21-23 Capella Crescent, Moorabbin (ASAP studios)
